Krittikaa Agni: The Sacred Spark of Tradition
🌸 The Inspiration: Woven from the Earth Close your eyes and envision the mesmerizing dance of a ritual fire under a vast, starlit sky. This is Krittikaa Agni—a name that pays homage to the "Krittika" nakshatra and the sacred, transformative power of Agni. As a majestic hero of our collection, this saree is a profound celebration of India's most revered textile art. It features a deep, soulful maroon canvas—reminiscent of ancient earth and ember—gracefully anchored by a regal royal blue pallu. It is a true visual masterpiece that effortlessly bridges the gap between powerful tradition and modern, minimalist elegance.
🌿 A Harmony of Body, Mind, Soul, and Earth Wearing the Krittikaa Agni Khadi saree is not just about making a bold fashion statement; it is a holistic, grounding experience that connects you to the very roots of the earth.
-
For the Body: Woven from the finest Handloom Khadi Cotton, this fabric is a living, breathing marvel. Handspun and handwoven, it naturally regulates your body temperature—keeping you cool in the summer and cozy in the winter. Free from harsh chemicals, the fabric yields and gets incredibly softer with every single wash.
-
For the Mind & Soul: The deep maroon tones ignite a sense of grounded strength and inner passion, while the royal blue pallu provides a majestic contrast of cooling calm and mental clarity. Wrapping yourself in these elemental colors brings a sense of empowered confidence and mindful presence.
-
For the Environment: Khadi is the ultimate sustainable luxury. Crafted with a near zero-carbon footprint without the use of electricity, this slow-made drape ensures that our environment remains as beautiful and unpolluted as the garment itself.
👐 Empowering the Hands of India More than just a saree, Krittikaa Agni is woven with the fabric of freedom. Crafted with immense love and patience on traditional wooden handlooms, every slightly uneven thread tells the authentic story of the weaver's touch. By choosing this signature Khadi creation, you are directly supporting the livelihoods of rural weaving families and preserving a sacred cultural heritage.

उत्पाद देखभाल
Every House of Jugnu piece is handcrafted with
love and care. To ensure your product stays beautiful for years, please follow
these simple care guidelines:
🌿 General Care
● Handle your handcrafted item gently —each piece is unique and made with delicate artisanal processes.
● Avoid contact with liquids, perfumes, or deodorants that may cause stains or discoloration.
● Do not wring, rub, or scrub the fabric. Always handle it softly.
● Store in a cool, dry place,
away from direct sunlight to preserve its natural color and texture.
● Air your garment occasionally to keep it fresh and prevent mildew.
🧵 Washing & Cleaning
● Prefer dry cleaning, especially for handwoven, hand-dyed, or block-printed fabrics.
● If washing at home, use mild
detergent and cold water, and wash separately by hand.
● Avoid machine wash and harsh
chemicals — they may damage natural fibers and colors.
● Do not bleach.
🎨 Color Notes & Behavior
● Moderate bleeding: Darker shades
(Indigo, Madder) may bleed during the first 2–3 washes.
● Low to moderate fading: Colors
like Turmeric yellows and Indigo blues fade faster in direct sunlight.
● Low surface dye transfer
(Dry/Wet): Excess surface dye (especially Indigo) may rub off on skin or
lighter clothes initially.
☀️ Ironing & Storage
● Use medium heat ironing on
the reverse side of the fabric.
● For delicate embroidery or block
prints, place a thin cotton cloth over the item before ironing.
● Store sarees and dupattas folded
neatly with muslin cloth between layers to allow the fabric to breathe.
💛 A Little Note
Slight color or texture variations are a part
of the charm of handcrafted textiles. With proper care, your House of Jugnu
creation will continue to age gracefully — just like true craftsmanship should.
